LOVGC Mission
To promote gardening appreciation, civic beautification, environmental responsibility, and horticultural education.
The Los Osos Valley Garden Club (LOVGC) is part of a district, state, regional and national non-profit network of garden clubs. The National Garden Clubs, Inc. was founded in 1929 and, as of 2026, its membership included over 5,000 garden clubs and 165,000 members across the United States, dedicated to promoting gardening, environmental stewardship, and civic beautification. The Los Osos Valley Garden Club was founded in 1933, and has continued to stand for gardening, the environment and benefitting the community by positive garden-related activities and educational programs.
